TV Recovery

Guy figured out how to keep us from having to warm up the TV for a long time before it will work.  At night he switches it to the computer, so it will power down over night without us having to turn it off!

42" Black Board

Well, it's dead.  Fortunately it's liquid filled and not plasma, so Guy can take it apart and try to fix it.  Until then we at least have Netflix on the other TV, and we have the small TV in the bedroom.

Talk About Lucky

Our friend's son gave us a 42" flat screen TV because you have to unplug it and then plug it back in again after it's been off in order to get it to work.  Wow.....

Let There be Light

It's wonderful to not automatically wake up when it's still dark....It's also great to have daylight hang around for a while in the late afternoon too!

Stomach Aches

I've been having a lot of those the past couple days.  I guess if they don't go away I'll have to see the doctor.

Annoying Dream

Last night I dreamt Guy and I leased to buy an apartment.  We bought it when it was cooler out, and so only noticed in the summer that the bedroom got really hot.  We slept in a foldaway bed in the living room.  A real estate agent wanted to use our apartment as the show apartment, but she forgot to make appointments and just helped herself.  We often woke up surrounded by a whole bunch of strangers.

Good Morning

I woke up with cats waiting for me to give them their treats; also the crows were  on the balcony waiting for their treats too.

I've Lost It

I was making Guy a cup of coffee, and brought out to him the container of sugar...

Scrunchy-Eyed

I never thought I'd consider 9:00 to be too early in the morning.

Peanuts!

We bought peanuts yesterday, so now the crows and jays are visiting lots!

Facebook Badge

Wow!  For the record, my last name is fake on Facebook, and for some reason they won't let me change my email, it's wrong on the badge. 

Some People

We have to change some characters on Guy's game; he got the sprites from a site that said he could use the sprites for whatever he wanted, so we assumed that the person running the site obtained the sprites with permission.  The Xbox people found those sprites in another game, in which there was no permission to use the characters for other games.  So in other words, the person running the website we got the sprites from obtained the sprites themselves without permission.  If it's not one thing it's another.  Thankfully Guy is well on his way to making new characters.

Waiting for Breakfast

This morning I was greeted by my cats waiting for their treats, and the crows were in the closest tree in the backyard waiting for me to put out more peanut butter.

Supper in Poco

We did go for supper last night; Guy was feeling better.  Daniel made a ham; he's a chef by trade.  He and Shelley's sons came to visit last night; I haven't seen their younger son in ages...I think he wasn't an adult yet when I saw him last!  It was bizarre seeing Greg all grown up.

PTSD Sucks

Hopefully we can visit our friends for supper tonight; we haven't seen them in a long time.  Guy's not feeling well, but hopefully with some rest he'll be better and we can go.  I don't wish PTSD on anyone.

And Yet Again....Another Snow Warning

They'd better not be teasing again!  According to the weather on iGoogle, we're supposed to get decent snow on Sunday.

It's obviously not snowing outside.  This crying wolf annoys both the people who want snow and those who don't want snow.  I can't stand this cruel teasing.

So it's snowing just like they warned!  But it doesn't seem to be sticking to anything?

Finally

It looks like now we can get someone to notarize Guy's game.  Thank goodness!  We want to lose as little of our profit to taxes as possible.

Guy bought me a toothbrush that comes with stickers.  (Children's toothbrushes fit my mouth the best.)  I made a picture with them and stuck my name on the toothbrush too.  He also bought me Finding Nemo bubblegum scented bubble bath.
